Get Fit the Fun way!

Gayathri Gopal and Shamitha Hettige, Co- Founders of Playmore brought the fun factor into fitness with their first ever mini trampoline centered exercise routines which includes the ever popular BodyBounce program.

What sets it apart from the normal workout?

The signature program BODYBOUNCE is a rebounding workout based on mini-trampolines and includes an abundance of fun and effective moves. Rebounding workouts offer amazing benefits in terms of calorie burning, increasing muscle ratio, stamina, strength and improving balance.

Playmore has transformed rebounding into a modern exercise concept that is fit for both men and women. The rhythmic moves have been meticulously chosen, targeting different muscle groups to provide maximum effectiveness and fun.

What is BodyBounce?

BodyBounce is an innovative concept initiated by Playmore which is a combination of movements derived from sports, fitness and aerobics to be used on a trampoline. The concept will benefit a wide range of people from office goers to athletes. It promises a full body workout and one can accomplish a maximum workout within a short duration.

Incorporated into the exercise routine are the stretches, body meditation and relaxation techniques to enable a full spectrum.

What are some of the benefits of BodyBounce?

Burns more calories – According to NASA’s Journal of Applied Physiology, rebounding exercise is 68% more efficient than jogging. Body Bounce is a metabolic supporting exercise and therefore it is pivotal to weight loss.

Better lymph circulation – The bouncing movement can enable the lymphatic vessels to open more than 15 times than usual enabling the body to be able to detox better. Better lymph circulation also means better immunity. Lymphatic drainage is very important in the prevention of cancer.

Improves balance and coordination – Every bounce stimulates the core muscles and vestibule in the ear enabling improved balance and stability .Rebounding puts an extra demand on cellular energy during the workout and will increase your body’s capacity for using that energy.

Low impact on joints – As the bungee chords absorb the impact of your bounce, the result is a workout program that is most gentle on your joints and tissues.

Improves hormonal balance – Rebounding also detoxifies excess hormones which promotes a healthy endocrine system. When your hormones are balanced, you feel energized, stable, and strong.  When they are too high or too low, you can develop problems with acne, weight gain, managing stress, or low energy.

Increased strength and stamina – Rebounding provides an increased G-force (gravitational load), which strengthens the musculoskeletal systems.
